I recently did a post on Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. In keeping with my current hunt for the perfect natural hues, I want to follow up with Tarte LipSurgence Lip Luster in Glitzy.
A couple of months ago, I tried on Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Naked. It’s gorgeous. Almost perfect. But Naked is the tiniest bit more pink than I wanted. Since then, I haven’t been able to find an ideal MLBB shade. I blame the distraction on hunting for reds. But recently, my favorite makeup artist pointed out Glitzy to me. Described as an “antique pink,” I think it makes a gorgeous counterpart to Tarte’s Exposed Blush. Don’t you?
Exposed / Glitzy
I am fully aware that Tarte also has a Matte Lip Tint in Exposed, but I am all about the shimmering finish of Glitzy. It gives that little extra something that makes the shade so special. The luster finish is also what takes an average look and makes it exceptional.
Summary: Housed in twist-up (can I get a “Hallelujah?”) chubby pencil form and packaging the same color as the shade itself, it’s hard to say “no” to a perfect natural lip color with a bit of added flair. Tarte LipSurgence Lip Luster in Glitzy is a neutral shade that will flatter warm and cool skin tones alike.
