Rich, creamy, pigmented, and ultra-smooth. In a nutshell, that is the Tarina Tarantino Jewel Shadow Palette in Fantastical. All five colors are equally luxurious and of the same high-quality formula.
I like the mix of shades varying from nudes, taupe, bright, and deep, and find these to be colors flattering for anyone. Purples compliment any eye color so the Fantastical Jewel Shadow Palette is my choice for a first go at Tarina Tarantino Jewel Shadow Palettes.
The only downside to this palette is that there isn’t a matte shade. This is a minor point, but one worth considering. I don’t mind limiting myself to one eyeshadow for a look. In that case, I would pick one shade, apply it to my mobile lids and blend upwards to just above the crease drastically fading out the color. However when wearing more than one eyeshadow, I prefer mixing finishes. Too much of one finish (particularly sparkle and shimmer) takes away from the gorgeousness this formula offers. So, while I stuck to Fantastical for this look, I would reach for another palette to go with and opt for a matte eyeshadow or two – especially in the crease – to balance things out.
I’m really digging the vibrant purple and deeper aubergine at the moment and expect to use one for a smoky eye soon.
Have you tried Tarina Tarantino cosmetics? What do I need to try next?
