Origins Starting Over Age-Erasing Eye Cream With Mimosa

It’s not often that eye cream is particularly exciting.  At least not in the real world.  But it is something I rely on heavily.  My mother and maternal grandmother have sagging upper eyelids.  To the point that their lashes aren’t visible at all.  And from what I’ve noticed in my own mother, this particular genetic change begins earlier than it should.  So I slather on eye cream morning and night in hopes of keeping my skin hydrated and in tact.

While applying eye cream toward the end of January, I could feel that my lightly visible crow’s feet were deeper than only the surface.  It was time to up my game and start using an anti-wrinkle product.

I settled on Origins Starting Over Age-Erasing Eye Cream With Mimosa.  I initially chose it because it is lightweight enough to use even in the morning before applying makeup.  While I generally expect lightweight products to have lightweight results, Starting Over eye cream is remarkably potent.  Only two short weeks after beginning use, I noticed the deep etchings had been smoothed away.  Does my skin still fold when I smile?  Of course!  But when relaxed, I no longer feel the wrinkles extending far below my skin’s surface.

These pictures were taken five days ago and show just how long one small jar of Origins eye cream will last.  I am very pleased with the results, even on my “young” skin, and plan to stick with Origins for my eye cream needs.

Price: $36.50

Availability: Sephora, Origins

Summary: Origins Starting Over Age-Erasing Eye Cream is moderately priced, readily available, and does an excellent job of “erasing” age.  It is best suited as an anti-wrinkle cream and will work well as an early anti-aging product.

Cool!! I think I’ll have to try this one! I need a new eye cream. Think it’ll be potent enough for my old eyes? :)

I recently had a major droop in my right eyelid and needed something that lifts and firms on top of treating wrinkles so I bought the Plantscription Eye Treatment. I love it! My skin doesn’t look deflated above my eye anymore. There is a Plantscription Eye Cream too which is even more hydrating than the treatment and I’m going to buy that one next. I know you have dry undereyes, so you would probably like Plantscription Cream best :)

Oooh! Thanks! Then that’s what I’ll get next. Eye creams are something I don’t notice much of a difference when using them, but you are right! I need something hydrating.
