As August makes way for September, I always find myself reaching for neutrals and red-oranges. This year I wore the look to a house-warming party/girls night with some good friends. I paired it with a long sleeveless ivory top, dark cuffed jean capris, and metallic wedges. Yep. This fashion-senseless mama is rather proud of herself.
I used the new NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation as my base as well as NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. It’s always nice to let tired skin look new for a night out. Urban Decay Smog is my ultimate summer bronze eyeshadow this year and Too Faced Perfect Brown eyeliner stays put on my waterline.
I started with Tarte Peaceful blush to give my cheeks a glow but decided to mix it with Tarte Blissful for more color. A good move that makes the look seamless when finished with Stila Color Balm in Valentina.
I love “transition” looks because I feel like it adds four extra seasons to the year. And four extra seasons means four more inspirations for color palettes!
