After going makeup-less for days I finally pulled out some color.  I finally own Makeup Geek’s Pixie Dust eyeshadow after coveting it for what feels like ages.  Then I bought Ardell Fairies lashes because if I was going to use Pixie Dust, I might as well include Fairies.  That and I really like the look of the lashes and they rekindled my want to wear false lashes more often.  I decided to work in a few other colors I haven’t used often enough and am really happy with the results.  This look is my version of fall in Florida.  A few trees with changing leaves, but still greens and sunny blue skies.  All eyeshadows used in this look are Makeup Geek.

Fairies and Pixie Dust profile

After priming the lids with Too Faced Shadow Insurance, lay a base from lashes to brows with Beaches and Cream.  Sweep Creme Brulee through and slightly above the crease to make blending easier later.  With a small brush, work Cocoa Bear back and forth directly into the crease.  Then pat Pixie Dust onto the mobile lids starting at the inner corners and fading just past the halfway point.  With a pencil brush buff Nautica into the outer ‘v’.  Line the upper lashes with NARS Eye Paint in Ubangi, then gently smudge Nautica over the top and create a soft wing.  Line the waterlines with Too Faced Perfect Eyes Perfect Brown liner.  Apply one layer of INGLOT False Lash Effect mascara.  Run Cocoa Bear under the lower lashes, focusing on the outer half.  Use Glamorous along the entire lower lashline and a small amount of Shimma Shimma under the tear duct to open up the eyes.  Finish by applying Ardell Fairies false lashes.

The key to keeping this a fall look is in the use of Cocoa Bear as well as the blush and lip choices.  theBalm Instain Blush in Toile is a warm Strawberry that perfectly ties the eyes to Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Fawn on the lips.
