There are two colors that I’ve long struggled with on the eyes – blue and green. My attempts at making these two colors look fantastic have evolved over the years and inspiration most recently came from the Urban Decay Fall 2013 images.
I wanted a deep emerald on the lid and a navy at the lower lashline. After giving my eyes a wash of nude from Urban Decay Foxy, I added instant depth to the outer V of my lids using NARS Aigle Noir with minimal blending. I then reached for my favorite jewel-toned palette – the original Shady Lady by theBalm.
Jealous Jordana went over the Soft Touch Shadow Pencil with a patting motion and was blended only slightly toward the inside of the crease. I lined my upper lashline with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On in Uzi and topped that with Jealous Jordana. The gunmetal grey was less harsh than using a black. Uzi also went on my waterline and then I applied Risque Renee from the eyeshadow palette to the lower lashline with a small shader blush.
As much as I adore deep lips with bold eyes lately, I went for Urban Decay Naked Revolution Lipstick and Lip Junkie this time around. The cheeks were given a slight flush with Sonia Kashuk Pink Beautifying Blush.
I’m all all about color lately and look forward to sharing more looks with you soon. What shades are you favoring lately?
