This year was my golden birthday. I waited a very long time for it (being born at the end of the month is rough) and got a very pleasant surprise from my little sister. I’m actually not sure I can call it a surprise because she texted me when she sent it saying she couldn’t contain her excitement. So I had to wait a few torturous days before my birthday gift arrived. It came a week before my actual birthday, but in a great act of mercy, Little Sister agreed I should open it immediately. Much to my delight, she had gifted to me my first taste of ColourPop – the Sundays in Silverlake collection.

ColourPop Parker look closeup
wearing NARSissist Dual-Ontensity Eyeshadow Palette and ColourPop Parker

To begin this look, I used NARS Pro-Prime Pore Refining Primer and NARS Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base. I mixed NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in St. Moritz and All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in Stromboli and applied with the Real Techniques Stippling Brush. I concealed under my eyes with Becca Ultimate Coverage Concealing Creme in Macadamia before setting everything with NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder. I used my Tarte Blush Brush with Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer under my cheekbones and across the top of my forehead. I added Senna Cosmetics Cream to Powder Blush in Dusty Rose on the apples of my cheeks (I soooo need more of these!) and Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal to highlight my cheekbones.

For my eyes I patted on NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Ursa Major onto my lids (dry) and swept it through the creases. I dampened my brush and patted Lysithea onto the inner 2/3 of my lids, finishing with Andromeda (wet) at the inner corners of my eyes. With a dry smudge brush, I ran Ursa Major under my lower lashes and topped with Subra. I lined my upper lashline with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Perversion and my lower waterline with Rockstar.

I filled my brows with Senna Cosmetics Form-A-Brow Neutral Kit, set them with Brow Fix X in Golden Brown, and layered 2 coats of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. Last but not least, I applied the creamy, pigmented, matte, ColourPop Lippie Stix in Parker. And ain’t she purdy?!

ColourPop Parker look

I’ve repeated the look a couple times already and love wearing it with these new Kate Spade earrings I found at Nordstrom Rack. Bigger than anything I typically wear, but they are black! And we all know how I feel about black :)
