The perfect nude lip is chic, sexy, cool, and wearable. It’s a must-have, a staple. But it’s not the same shade for everyone. I’ve tried a number of nude lip colors in the last year and I’m getting close – very close – to my perfect nude.
Cliniques Long Last Lipstick is housed in a metallic ridged tube. It’s sleek packaging is sturdy and weighty.
The neutral tone makes me comfortable in Creamy Nude and the texture is neither sticky nor does it provide a lot of slip.
One fault I’ve found in other nude lip colors is the amount of coverage they provide. Clinique Creamy Nude is far from sheer but doesn’t look built up on the lips either.
If I could change anything about Creamy Nude, it would be a tiny bit more peach toned. For a “long last” lip color, I don’t find that it stays on my lips for a noticeably long amount of time. I like reapplying, so it’s not much a concern for me.
For the time being, I’ll keep reaching for Clinique Creamy Nude. It’s almost – almost – perfect.
Have you found your best nude?
