Butter London recently came out with a new formula called Patent Shine 10X boasting “brighter, stronger, healthier nails in classic, creamy, wearable shades” with up to 10 days of wear.
I’ve been testing out four of the shades and will tell you right off the bat that I’m impressed. No nail polish has come close to lasting 10 days on me, Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquers included. But as most formulas chip on the second day, I’m thrilled with getting 4-5 days out of these.
Shop Girl (worn) is the best nude nail polish I’ve seen next to my olive skin. Not too cool and not too warm. Just enough pink to keep my fingers looking fresh and not corpse-like, but still a beige.
Chat Up is the “fun shade” of the bunch and now that I have the go ahead at the office to let loose and have some personality, it was the first shade I wore.
The classic color of Her Majesty’s Red is a true red that I prefer for date night or on my toes.
Little V and I tested Over the Moon first for “rockstar nails.” I’m a sucker for warm grays and appreciate the medium depth that contrasts my typical deep-dark favorite shades.
After trying the new Patent Shine 10X formula, I was put off by the chipping I experienced from other polishes. Butter London has introduced a real competitor and I highly suggest trying your favorite color to experience the creamy, smooth, shiny, and long-wearing nail lacquers yourself.
