I’ve been really enjoying fall promo images and am ready to pull out some smokey eye looks.  As such, investing in a grey cream base quickly became a priority.  I’ve been wearing a lot of Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit over the last three (is it really August already??) months.  I never did a proper review of it, but you can see it here in a Power Couples post.  Thoroughly enjoying Benefit’s cream eyeshadow formula, I purchased Skinny Jeans in hopes of it being my next must-have cream shadow.

When Benefit first released the new packaging, I was disappointed.  I absolutely adore the old packaging.  But the more I look at Skinny Jeans, the more this little glass jar looks like a cookie.  And cookies aren’t so bad.  It’s growing on me.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows feel very creamy to me. Not tacky like Stila Convertible Colors, not firm to the touch like Tarte Waterproof Clay Shadows, but thin and slippery.  It makes for ridiculously easy application and blending.  And once the shadow dries, it stays put all day.

Coming in at a neutral-warm grey, Skinny Jeans fares well on my very warm skin tone.
