When I repeatedly wear a look, it must be shared.  I bring to you my second combination from Urban Decay Naked 3, this time featuring more of the middle shades.  (My first look was a dark smoky eye.)  I started out this fall with bold eyes which quickly turned into bold eyes and bold lips.  Slowly I find myself succumbing to neutrals, dusty pinks, and MLBB lipsticks.

A Lighter Fall Look Using Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyes

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I’ve really been wanting to focus on an orange-toned eyeshadow without being too orange.  After applying Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden from lashline to brow bone, I used Naked 3 to create my eye look.  I patted Nooner onto the outer 1/2 and Trick on the inner 2/3 of my mobile lid.  The overlap provides a transition into Factory which I patted onto the outer V and blended into my crease.  Above I stopped there and moved on to eyeliner.  Below I smudged Factory on my lower lashline.  In both looks I’ve used 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Demolition, but for the slightly winged look I topped it with NYX Liquid Brown Liner.

I complemented the lid colors with Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush in Melon on the cheeks.  I originally used a sample of Stila Color Balm in Vivienne (below) on the lips, but, annoyed with the end of their cruelty-free status, I switched to Too Faced La Creme Spice Spice Baby.  While the colors are similar, I prefer the finish of Spice Spice Baby for this look.

I anticipate this being my Thanksgiving Day look also.  It’s quick, easy, and not too glamorous for my family’s laid back holiday.  A few things I’m thankful for this year:

  • Faith, family, and friends
  • Our home (bought in August)
  • Quiet moments where my kids manage to play happily
  • The opportunity to do something that I love every day…playing with makeup and chatting with all of you!

Happy Thanksgiving!
